A great picture. It is good that children have a chance to learn to learn water safety early. At one time in the 1940s we had a half tank under our fig tree in which we were able to cool off, At grandfather's farm we could cool off in the dam which was muddy. It had dreadful leeches which attached to your legs. We had to take a dip in our singlet and panties but it cooled us on very hot days. Mum made jam from the figs. Aunt B
