A great idea! You could make your own illustrated recipe books for your daughters. Old recipe books are good to read. I must make a list of the various things I have made. Also making butter from fresh cream at grandfather's farm. Using yeast to make buns at Easter was a pleasure. There is not time to tell you about the good things my mother made using a wood stove.
